Why are calls hanging on Huawei?
When we carry the mobile with us in our pocket, bag or backpack, among other situations, the smartphone continually plays against other products that can give a random response on the screen with the bad luck that the mobile answers or hangs up calls. . This problem should not occur because when we use the mobile and bring it close to the ear, the screen turns off, which means that the proximity sensor works.
Even so, the problem still exists and has its origin in the sensitivity of this sensor. Huawei is aware of the problem and that is why it has an option that according to our cases we will have to activate it or better leave it as it is, it will be our decision.
Pocket mode has the solution with EMUI
To correct this, we will only have to go to the settings section of our Huawei mobile and slide to the option called accessibility functions. Once inside, the option to prevent involuntary actions will appear at the end, which we have to activate. With this we will achieve that when our mobile phone does not detect a key presence in the proximity sensor and detects a low light level, in fact it is in a bag or pocket and does not allow calls to be answered so easily.
Solve alternative if problems continue
The Huawei proximity sensor can be the culprit of our problem even after activating the pocket mode function, to solve this what we will do is reset it with the following application. A very simple app to use and that following the steps we explain will allow us to lose calls on Huawei again .
- First of all we downloaded the application from the Play Store .
- Then we just have to touch the central button and follow the steps.
- Repeatedly we will have to cover the sensor until the light turns green,
- At the end the sensor will be reset and will work again.
