Internet offers us in the times that run a huge number of uses and modes of operation. At the same time, it puts in our possession an almost unlimited amount of information in different forms, something that we can download equally in different ways.
One of the most common types of use that we tend to use is navigation as such, looking for all kinds of information, such as ITIGIC. But that is not all that the Internet presents us, that is clear. We can also use social networks, communicate with users around the world, play, work, or download programs. In fact, in these lines we want to focus on this last mode, that of downloading programs and operating systems, among other things.

And, as we have mentioned, for this type of task we have several systems to carry it out. On the one hand we can always use the traditional way via the web that the vast majority of Internet browsers present us. But that’s not all, but on many occasions we also find that we can carry out the same via torrent, that is, through P2P networks . It is true that both systems are effective, but at the same time different. Therefore, each of them has some advantages and disadvantages, as we will see.
In fact, over the years many users prefer, whenever possible, the P2P mode through torrent files . But of course, when the time comes, each user can use the method they prefer or that seems most appropriate at that time.
How to download programs, via the web or by torrent
One of the advantages that torrent downloads present us is that they can be carried out in a decentralized way, that is, from a multitude of sources simultaneously. With this, what is achieved is greater privacy in downloads, hence some uses that are made of P2P networks, and greater stability. That is why many companies that have to share large files, prefer to offer their products online via P2P.

This is the case, for example, of many of the Linux distributions that we can use, which consist of several gigs and are downloaded from a torrent. In addition to all this we must add that if that torrent is shared by many users, or seeds, at that time, the download will be very fast. But of course, not everything was going to be advantages in this sense, although from what has been said so far that this is one of the most interesting options.
But of course, depending on the type of use, generally the applications that we download are only available for direct download via the web . In addition, it must be taken into account that for this method it is enough that we use the browser itself, while for torrent, in most cases additional P2P client programs are used to get the most out of them, which for many is a nuisance.
