It tends to happen more on iPhone because they need your data to be able to access them , something that does not happen so much on Android, however, it could reach you no matter what mobile you have. Do not trust these types of messages and do not click on any link that comes from them. Report them to the police and to whomever appropriate. If you have doubts about its origin, contact Apple, the police or your telephone company directly, but never any telephone number or contact that appears in the SMS.
The objective is for you to open a link or message that asks for your Apple or Google email and password to intercept this data and be able to unlock the smartphone that has been taken from you.
