As the new 2020 mobiles are introduced, the doubts of users to buy one model or another are intensifying. Huawei has just introduced the new P40 , which seems to be one of the main rivals of Apple‘s iPhone 11. In addition, at the moment both terminals can be purchased at a very similar price, which makes doubts greater. Let’s see in detail the differences between these two phones and the advantages of one over the other.
Three terminals presented Apple with the iPhone 11 and three that Huawei has released with the new P40. The standard versions of both families, the ones that give the name to both series, are the most balanced and the ones that offer a more interesting quality / price ratio for many users. That is why we wanted to see in detail what each device technically offers.

Screen and dimensions
The first thing that strikes us is that the Huawei P40 and iPhone 11 have the same screen size, reaching 6.1 inches. However, the resolution of the iPhone 11 is 1,792 x 828 pixels , that is, what we know as HD +. However, the Huawei P40 achieves a FullHD + resolution with 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. The P40 sports a more current design with a hole in the screen to house the front sensors, while the iPhone 11 continues to show off a notch in the shape of an eyebrow, somewhat out of date in the middle of 2020.

As for weight and thickness, we see that the P40 takes the palm of lightness with its 175 grams, compared to the 194 grams of the iPhone 11 . However, it should be noted that the Apple mobile is slightly thinner with its 8.3 millimeters compared to the 8.5 millimeters of the P40.
Kirin vs A13 Bionic
Under the hood we find the two most powerful processors in each house. On the P40 we have the Kirin 990, while on the iPhone 11 we have the A13 Bionic. They are two chips manufactured in the 7nm process that have AI algorithms to manage energy efficiently. In the performance section, none have problems to execute any multitasking due to my aggressive or current game. We see how the P40 has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, compared to 4 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of the iPhone 11.

Very different cameras
In the camera section, it seems that we are talking about mobile phones years away, always keeping in mind that more does not have to mean better. The Huawei P40 sports three rear cameras with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 16-megapixel wide angle and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, capable of achieving 3X optical zoom. Likewise, on the front we find a 32 megapixel sensor accompanied by a ToF lens. The iPhone 11 for its part has two 12-megapixel sensors on the back and a 12-megapixel front camera.

Battery
Keep in mind that the Huawei P40 is a 5G terminal, while it is something that we may not see at Apple until the next iPhone 12. None lacks the main connections, and they also have the latest version of EMUI and iOS respectively. As for the battery, the Huawei P40 has 3,800 mAh compatible with 22.5W fast charge with fast, wireless and reverse charging technology. The iPhone 11 for its part has a 3,110 mAh battery with 18W fast charge and wireless charging.
Very even prices
If we take a look at the prices, we see that we can buy a Huawei P40 for 799 euros in its only version with 128 GB of storage. The cheapest iPhone 11 has a cost of 779 euros in its 64 GB version, which may be somewhat scarce in these times. Given the technical differences between the two devices, the feeling of having a more advanced and worthy smartphone from 2020 falls on the side of the Huawei P40. However, at almost the same price, many may opt for the apple mobile. The final decision as always is yours …
