The company has just announced it at an official event in China, showing that Honor continues to lead the launch of premium mid-range terminals with a great quality / price ratio. The Honor 30s is the successor to the Honor 20s that came out last year. In addition, it is the first device that integrates the new Kirin 820, which is compatible with 5G networks. It also has other interesting elements such as its triple rear camera or a generous battery with a fast charge at the height of the most powerful high-end on the market.

The terminal has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen , which achieves a FullHD + resolution. It is also remarkable that it offers a ratio of 90.3% in relation to its body. Like any mid-range worth its salt and following the current trend, it has a fingerprint sensor located on the side.
Brand new processor
As we say, inside we find the new Kirin 820 5G , a chip made in 7nn that includes the Mali G57 GPU. This SoC has a similar performance to the Kirin 990, brain of the most powerful high-end Huawei. This Honor 30s has variants of 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 G B of internal storage, compatible with the UFS 2.1 reading standard.
They lead the 64 megapixels
At the rear we find a module with four rear cameras, led by a 64-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle with a 120-gram viewing angle, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3X optical and 20X digital zoom and a 2 megapixel macro lens that can capture detail 4 centimeters away. The front camera for selfies reaches 16 megapixels, and like the rear ones it has AI beauty mode or Night Mode.
Battery and connections
The Honor 30s comes with a 4,000 mAh battery with 40W fast charge. This means that it can charge 70% of its capacity in just 30 minutes. Connectivity features include the 3.5mm, 5G and Bluetooth 5.1 audio jack. It arrives with Android 10, but camouflaged in the Magic UI 3.1.1 layer , lacking Google applications just like its Huawei brothers.
And the price?
Honor has announced that the mobile will be priced at 2,399 RMB (about 310 euros) in its 128 GB variant and 2,699 RMB (about 340 euros) in its 256 GB version. At the moment there is no information on its release date or availability in markets such as the European one. It will be available in black, white, green and red colors.
