It is well known that Windows 10 is full of glitches and errors. Some of these failures mean nothing to most users since they only affect very specific advanced functions of the operating system, while others can be truly annoying and affect us in our day-to-day lives. In addition, there are also other types of bugs that are not only curious, but unintentionally bring the most interesting functions and features to Windows, as has happened with this new bug. A bug that you wouldn’t mind having on your computer.
A Reddit user who uses Windows 10, specifically an Insider version of the system, has encountered a curious bug in Windows that makes the taskbar and the start menu of the operating system appear completely transparent.

It is not known exactly what causes the error, although everything indicates that it is a problem related to the graphics driver that causes the Fluent texture of these elements to not be loaded and, therefore, appear colored totally transparent. In addition, no specific process has been indicated to replicate it, nor the exact build in which the error has appeared.
This is obviously a Windows bug . However, it is curious to see how this error could perfectly have been a feature, a change in the Windows interface. And it is that putting the start and the transparent taskbar is a very requested function by many users.
There are several ways to make the startup and taskbar transparent
Why doesn’t Microsoft do this by default? The answer is very simple. For users who change the background to use highly ornate backgrounds, or high quality photos, having the transparent taskbar with the icons placed on it is counterproductive , as it does not look good. The translucent effect makes the taskbar stand out, as if it is above the background, and allows us to have the elements perfectly placed in it.
Although it is true that many would like to have a transparent start and taskbar on their computer, in reality this is nothing more than a bug that, one way or another, Microsoft will fix very soon in the new Insider builds. It would be weird to even be able to see it as an option within the settings, since Microsoft for some reason prefers translucent backgrounds over transparencies as such.
However, there are ways to make the Windows Startup or Taskbar transparent. One of them is changing the start menu program for one of the two most popular alternatives, such as Start10 or StartIsBack.
Another similar tool that will allow us to make the Windows taskbar transparent is TranslucentTB, now known as TaskbarX. It is a free and open source program that we can download from this link and that will also allow us to give a personal touch to the Windows 10 taskbar both by adjusting the icons and changing the type of transparency of it.
