You don’t need the password
Via WPS
The fastest and easiest method is to connect using the WPS method. This is a 2007 standard, promoted by the Wi-Fi Alliance to facilitate the creation of WLAN networks and that ensures an instant connection without the need to enter the password manually. For this we will have to go to the options of our mobile and go to the “Connections” section
Once inside, in Advanced Connections or at the bottom (depending on the model) we will see a reference called “WPS Button”. Now we just have to press it and then press the WPS button that is on the router to which we want to connect . The connection will take place in a few seconds.
Without WPS
It is possible that some mobiles, especially with more time on the market, do not have a WPS option. In that case, we can make a third-party application lend us a hand to act as a bridge between our mobile and the router and to be able to connect without a password. One of the best is SimpleWPS, which allows you to connect without a password using the same system.
Once the app is installed, we will have to press the WPS button and do the same on the router. The connection will also be made instantly. Once done we can even delete the application, since our mobile will save it and allow us to connect automatically every time.
QR method
Almost all routers have a QR code on the back. This code contains information that allows us to connect to the network without entering the password. We will only have to use a QR code scanner, either the native one that comes on our mobile or downloading any app that reads this type of code. Once the camera is pointed and scanned, the connection will be made easily.
Generate the QR
In this case, the router may not have the QR code. For this we need the help of the Wi-Fi host, so that on your mobile, which already has the password memorized, it generates a QR code that we will read to connect to the network. In this case you can download the generator that we leave below. Simply select the Wi-Fi network stored in the mobile to generate the QR code. Now we just have to scan it with our mobile to be able to connect without a password.
