The year has left us an interesting war in the mid-range, thanks to the launches of firms such as Xiaomi and Reame. The Realme X50 Pro hit the market at the beginning of the year, while the Xiaomi Mi 10 T Pro did so last October. Now, we can calmly see a complete technical comparison between both devices , to see which of the two may be more worth buying at this time.
Perhaps two of the clearest similarities between the two terminals are in your brain, and in the price. For these aspects alone it will be difficult to choose between one and the other, but luckily they are very different in other aspects that can balance the balance to one side or the other.
Screen and dimensions
The first thing we see is that both the design and the screen and the dimensions of the terminal masters are very different. The Mi 10T Pro sports a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel , with a frame-to-screen ratio of 85.2% and a whopping 144Hz refresh rate. The Realme X50 Pro for its part, has a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED panel with a frame / screen ratio of 84.9% and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Both panels are protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and are compatible with HDR10 +, in addition to having the same aspect ratio of 20: 9. The Realme X50 Pro takes the prize for the most measured dimensions and weight, with its 8.9 millimeters and 205 grams, for the 9.3 millimeters and 218 grams of the Xiaomi terminal.

My 10T Pro
The most powerful processor
When we lift the hood of both teams, we find all the power of the Snapdragon 865, the most powerful Android processor of 2020 and that ensures performance for years to come. However, the Mi 10 T Pro offers versions with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage, while the Realme X50 Pro also adds a more powerful variant with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. However, the write speed is UFS 3.1 versus Realme terminal 3.0 standard. Neither of them can expand the internal storage using microSD cards.

However, and taking into account its results in a performance program like AnTuTu, it yields somewhat better, probably due to a more refined optimization, reaching 646,000 points, compared to 588,000 points for the Realme X50 Pro, always in the most powerful variants of Every model.
Very different cameras
Turning them over, we find another of their great differences in the cameras section. The months that separate the launch of both terminals benefit Xiaomi from the capacity of the main sensor. The Mi 10T Pro features a 108 megapixel lens, a 13 megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 5 megapixel macro sensor. For its part, the Realme X50 Pro has four rear cameras, with a 64 megapixel main sensor, a 12 megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle and a 2 megapixel monochrome sensor.

On the front we also find a notable difference, since the Mi 10T Pro sports a single 20 megapixel selfie sensor, compared to the double front sensor of its rival, with 32 and 8 megapixel lenses . This makes a total of six sensors on the Realme and four on the Xiaomi device, although we already know that no more has to mean better.
However, the Mi 10T Pro can capture video in 8K resolution, a capacity that the Relame terminal cannot match, staying in 4K recording. It is not an excessively relevant data but it can serve those who seek the most powerful in this field.
Connections, battery and OS
In the connection section, both have Bluetooth 5.1, NFC for mobile payments or USB Type-C 2.0. As for the fingerprint sensor, the Realme X50 Pro integrates it on the screen, while the Xiaomi terminal has it on one side. The battery without is larger in the Mi 10T Pro with its 5,000 mAh compared to the 4,200 mAh of the X50 Pro. However, Realme sports a more advanced fast charge of 65W, capable of charging 100% in 35 minutes, compared to the 33W load from its rival.

The Mi 10T Pro moves with MIUI 12 and Android 10, while the Realme X50 Pro has just made the leap to Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0, an improvement to take into account if you want to have the latest news of the operating system of Google.
Twin prices, but with a nuance
As we said at the beginning, price will not be a determining factor this time. At the moment, we can buy a Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro for around 550 euros on Amazon, while the X50 Pro is around the same 550 euros. However, we must bear in mind that this price in Xiaomi is for the version of 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, while we have 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB in Realme for the same price.
Conclusions
Given the technical differences, and taking into account that the price is even, it may be that Android 11, double the memory and RAM capacity, as well as a much more advanced fast charge, can tip the balance on the side of Realme. However, if you want to show off megapixels, or a higher refresh rate, as well as a larger battery, your terminal may be that of Xiaomi.
