However, there are those who have run into problems with it, forcing them to remain momentarily on Android 12.
Android 13 missing
This problem related to Android 13 is present both in Spain and in other countries and affects the Google Pixel 6, 6 Pro and 6a models , that is, the most current releases of the brand. The origin of the problem is totally unknown and from the Mountain View company they have not come out to give explanations about it. While it is true that you can force the update manually , this method is not recommended at all. This is because it can lead to malfunctions that completely detract from the experience. - From your Google Pixel 6 or variant access the Google website .
- Select the blue button that appears in the upper right to sign in with your Google credentials. It is important to enter the same account you have on your mobile.
- Your phone will appear among the compatible devices, so you just have to touch the blue button with the message “Allow” again.
Basically what you have done is download the Android 13 beta program , but immediately you will receive a notification on your device notifying you of an available update. Click on it and wait for the download to finish to install it on your Google Pixel 6.
There is no way back
You have to be very careful if you decide to take the step to Android 13 on your Google Pixel 6 if it has not yet arrived officially. There is no way to go back to Android 12 in case the first one does not work correctly. In fact, going through other ways to reinstall this version may result in the phone not even turning on.
