Solution to Problems with Passwords Saved on Mobile

Save passwords or not

App passwords on Google are optional. On the same screen of the Password manager Scroll down to see the sites that you have allowed to remember your access data. If you click on the Settings button, you will discover the apps or websites that have been rejected and that you have not allowed to remember your credentials.

Is my password at risk?

Google’s own app lets you know if some of your passwords have been exposed to different security problems and, in addition, it allows you to change the weakest ones. Follow the path:

Settings> Google> Manage your Google account> Security> Password manager> Password review

Enter your screen lock pattern or fingerprint and locate all the problems that your credentials may suffer, with special attention to the section on compromised passwords.

Chrome doesn’t offer to save passwords

The fact that the automatic message does not appear when you are completing a form to save the access data does not mean that you cannot store them. Simply open Google Chrome on your mobile, enter your information on the website where you want to save the password and, to the right of the address bar, click on the key icon and select Save .

If you don’t see the key icon, clear the password and then try signing in again.

The web or the app does not suggest passwords

If Chrome or a certain App does not offer you the password that you saved at the time, when you enter the user email you will be offered the opportunity to directly access the Android password manager to check if it is stored or not, and check if it suffers any issue.

I don’t remember the password, how do I see it?

If you can’t get your phone to show the default password and you don’t remember it, you can always access the Android password manager with your credentials and click on the service or website you want to access, by clicking on the “eye” icon in the password field, see your password.
