Our photos are more than files stored on the mobile, since they are considered memories of our life where friends and family are present. We may see the screen but the touch is completely broken, in that case we will have no way to access the content of our mobile. Fortunately, most are compatible with OTG technology. This allows us to connect an adapter to the microUSB or USB-C port of our mobile, and connect a mouse via USB.
The mobile will recognize it at the moment and we can move through the menus without any problem. Clicking will allow us to access each menu. In this way we can make backup copies, activate Bluetooth to send photos or enter the PIN that was blocking access from the PC.

Maybe thinking about WhatsApp is not the first thing that comes to mind in such a situation, but it can serve as a photo recovery tool. With WhatsApp backups activated, we will have many of the photos that we have taken and that we have subsequently sent to our contacts saved in your cloud. The key photos we don’t want to lose may be there. Just log in to WhatsApp on another mobile with our phone number and let the most recent backup be restored.
