This year the war for dominance of the mid-range is totally unleashed. Samsung is hitting hard with its Galaxy M, Xiaomi with its Poco X3 NFC and its Redmi Note 9 and Motorola with its Moto G9. They are joined by Realme with their interesting Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro that were launched just a month ago in the Spanish market.
The smartphones were presented in stores with perforated screens, RealmeUI as the operating system, large batteries with unparalleled fast charging, high refresh rate screens and with a multi-camera system on the rear. These cameras are precisely the ones that now improve thanks to the latest update released by the manufacturer for their phones.
Improving the cameras of the Realme 7
Realme is implementing a series of camera improvements for the Realme 7 series, as well as for the Realme 2 Pro and Narzo 20 Pro, terminals that are not sold in our country.
According to recent posts on the company’s community forums, the latest Realme UI update for the Realme 7 (v. RMX2151PU_11_A.61) includes the September 2020 Android security patches and most importantly , different optimizations for the clarity of the image that we capture with your camera. These improvements are intended to improve the quality of night shots by reducing the noise present in photographs taken when the light is not good. Other improvements are:
- Solution to the dark image problem of the ultra wide angle camera in HDR mode.
- Optimizing the image noise of the main camera in HDR mode
- Optimizing image clarity and preview in third-party applications
- Optimization of image sharpness.
- Optimizing Picture Clarity for Portrait Mode
The Realme UI update for the Realme 7 Pro (v. RMX2170PU_11_A.17), on the other hand, brings the October 2020 Android security patches with various optimizations for the camera and bug fixes such as the following:
- Optimizing the overexposure of the front camera.
- Optimization of the color changes that appear in the rear camera.
- Rear camera dynamic range optimization in 64M mode
The updates are reaching the firm’s two smartphones via OTA and will initially reach a limited number of users. It seems that it is not regionally limited, so in Spain we should start receiving it in the coming days.
