Google Assistant options

- First we enter the Google app, from the direct access or with the search bar by touching the icon.
- Once inside Google, we will see Discover.
- We have to click on the last of the lower option called “More”.
- In this tab we choose “Settings”.
- We continue clicking on “Google Assistant”.
- Finally we choose “Voice Match”.
Make the Google Assistant understand you
The most frequent and the most successful solution most of the time is based solely on teaching the Google assistant our voice again . We can do this by following the steps we have seen before. We enter Voice Match and we find the following possibilities:
We will have to click on “Voice model” to delete the previous record we made and repeat it again. For it to work properly and Google Assistant is not activated, we just have to repeat “Okay Google” as many times as necessary with the mobile at different distances. With this completed, the wizard will improve its recognition and the problem should not be repeated.
Disable Voice Match
On the contrary, if we do not want the Google assistant to ever listen to us for this utility, we just have to follow the same process and once inside Voice Match, we are going to touch the blue button to deactivate it. OPPO smartphones allow you to follow these quick steps and remove the option: Settings> Smart options and remove the Google assistant from the power button.
Disable the button on OnePlus mobiles
The last manufacturer that offers an option to put the assistant and therefore to remove it is OnePlus, where we must enter: Settings> Buttons and gestures, to remove the option.
The wizard does not work on the lock screen
There are those who are not interested in being able to use the Google assistant only when they are in the car or with their hands full and that makes it difficult to take advantage of the assistant. In that case, the problem changes, because what we want to achieve is that now, the assistant recognizes the voice and the command “Ok Google” even on the screen off .
