Today we have a greater number of devices housed on our wrist. Although Xiaomi was a pioneer in this of selling cheap smartbands , today brands such as OPPO, Realme and even OnePlus have already ventured into this attractive market. Still, all eyes are on the Mi Band 6 once again .
One of the best and most popular among all the bracelets that currently exist is, how could it be otherwise, the Xiaomi Mi Band 5. The bracelet of the Chinese firm has a lot of very different characteristics, however, it is not less true that many others are missed.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 is in charge of alleviating these absences and, although it has not yet been presented in society, there are already different rumors and leaks that allow us to find out what exactly this bracelet will have different from the current manufacturer’s model.
The 3 great novelties of the Mi Band 6
The main novelty would affect the screen, which would grow in size and resolution. Currently the Mi Band 5 sports a 1.1-inch color OLED panel with a resolution of 126 x 294 pixels but rumors speak that the Mi Band 6 could have an AMOLED screen that would grow up to 1.2 inches , also increasing the resolution to 180 x 360 pixels. This would make the pixel density per inch 200 pp or even higher, so the human eye would not notice any pixels on the screen.
The second great novelty would be the addition of a GPS module to track the location in space without the need to constantly quote with the help of the smartphone. Thanks to this sensor, the bracelet will be able to calculate the speed of movement and the average rhythm, which is really useful when we practice sports outdoors. Since the new bracelet would maintain IP68 water resistance with the ability to dive down to a depth of 50 meters, this GPS would also be subtle for recording our swimming exercises.

Another feature of the Mi Band 6 that has been leaked in recent hours alludes to a barometric altimeter, that is, a real altimeter. With the help of this sensor, the new bracelet will be able to determine the altitude gained in an hour, a day or another period of time. Of course, these data will be taken into account when calculating physical activity, since today the current Xiaomi Mi Band 5 does not distinguish uphill or downhill movement.
As for the presentation of the bracelet, today it is unknown but it could be launched at the beginning of next spring.
