Almost a month has passed since Xiaomi celebrated the presentation of the new MIUI 14 version of the layer together with the Xiaomi 13 family. At that event, only the newest phones that will receive the version were announced, but we already know one more list wide and the latest leaks also indicate that up to 11 “old” devices from the Asian company will be updated soon.
We already know in advance that the Chinese tech giant is quite generous in terms of system upgrades and this is just one more sample. Those who have a phone from several years ago often find themselves in uncertainty because they do not know if they will have the latest version, but everything has become clear after the information shared by Xiaomiui colleagues.

MIUI 14 for everyone
From Xiaomiui they have revealed that Xiaomi is testing MIUI 14 on smartphones of a certain age. This means that it is practically guaranteed that these models will have it, since these kinds of software checks are a preview of what is to come in the future.
Over the weekend, it has been revealed that the devices that make up the Redmi Note 9 series and the POCO M2 line will also get MIUI 14 in the future. Anyway, below we leave you the list with all the Xiaomi phones that are going to be updated:
- redmi note 9
- redmi note 9s
- Redmi Note 9 Pro
- Redmi Note 9 Pro Max
- Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G
- Redmi 9
- Redmi 10X 4G
- Redmi 10X 5G
- Redmi 10X Pro 5G
- POCO m2
- POCO M2 Pro

Among the terminals that appear on the list there are several cases that are not sold in Spain, such as the three members of the Redmi 10X family and some members of the Redmi Note 9, such as the Pro Max and Pro 5G model. However, there are certain international variants that do not appear in the compilation and that is quite strange, as this is the case of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G and Xiaomi Mi 10i 5G , which landed in the same year as these phones.
They stay with Android 12
Most of the smartphones on the list have already been updated twice by both MIUI and Android. This means that MIUI 14 will be the third and last version of the personalization layer that they are going to boast of. Instead, they will not have Android 13 as the operating system, that is, the MIUI 14 versions of the phones mentioned above will be based on Android 12.

On the other hand, it is important to note that the MIUI 14 update will roll out faster than last year with MIUI 13. This was one of the main complaints from users due to the delay in some older smartphones, but Xiaomi has taken action on the issue so that the launch occurs a little earlier . At the moment it is not confirmed when this will happen, although, first of all, the MIUI 14 presentation event must take place globally, which should take place in the coming weeks.
