It is usually even normal considering the absence of fans and that sometimes there are more demanding processes, but is it normal if nothing is being done with the phone? When is it normal for the iPhone to get hot?
As we said before, heavy processes are the main culprits that the iPhone can get hot and that it is noticeable when we have it in hand even with a cover.
