Perhaps this is not exactly the year in which the most expectation has been aroused by the presentation of the new range caps of the Chinese firm, for the reasons that we all already know, but they are still undoubtedly the most important launches of the year. We already know officially the date on which the new Huawei Mate 40 will be presented .
As expected, the month of October is chosen to present the new top of the range of the Chinese firm, curiously this year preceded by the presentation of the iPhone 12, which will do so next Tuesday.
When do they appear?
The Chinese firm has announced in its official accounts on social networks that the new Mate 40 range will be presented on October 22 , or what is the same, in less than two weeks.

It will be at 2:00 p.m. Spanish peninsular time , and 1:00 p.m. in the Canary Islands, when the presentation of the new brand phones takes place. What do we know about the new Huawei Mate 40?
Without a doubt, the most striking thing about these mobiles is that we could be facing the latest phones that release a new Huawei processor, or what is the same, the latest phones to release a Kirin processor. If the US vetoes do not change to TSMC, the company that manufactures Huawei’s processors, the Kirin 1000 that will incorporate these phones will be the last we will see in a Huawei mobile. This processor will be manufactured in 5nm , being one of the most advanced in this regard.
The devices that are expected to be presented this day are the Huawei Mate40, Huawei Mate40 Pro, Huawei Mate40 Pro + and Porsche Design Huawei Mate40 RS, the usual mobiles that we know in these brand presentations. Regarding the design, an evolution is expected on the Huawei Mate 3o, in which although the round camera is preserved, this module will have a larger appearance, which will surely create a trend as on previous occasions. The screen will once again be OLED and curved , although this time we will no longer have an eyebrow-shaped notch. Rather, it will be a double pill-shaped hole that will house not only the selfie camera, but also a TOF sensor to identify users by scanning their face in 3D.
What’s new in your camera
As usual one of the great novelties of Huawei will come from the hand of the camera. On this occasion, plans to implement a liquid camera sensor have been leaked, which would allow to have important advantages when focusing, with a much faster focus . And it would not even be necessary to include a TOF sensor behind it, since this new sensor could replace its operation.
A module that would somehow function as a Gimbal and that would provide a lot of stability to photos and videos. Of course, at the moment it is only information based on a patent, which could be delayed until P50. In any case, the Achilles heel of these phones will once again be the software, since once again we will not have Google services and apps , and it has even been leaked that they could arrive with EMUI 10.1, instead of the latest version of the brand coat, on the 22nd we will leave doubts.
