The next big announcement from Huawei are the P40 and P40 Pro. We will still have to wait until next Thursday to officially meet them. While we wait we can get an idea of what awaits us with the Huawei Mate 40 Pro , which will go on sale at the end of next summer and we can already get an idea of it.
The leaks usually hit even months before a mobile is official. There is no fixed rule that dictates how and when they will occur, but what is clear is that they will always be there. The Huawei P40 and P40 Pro are presented on Thursday 26, and we already know practically everything about their design or technical details such as their cameras .
Even prices have already been filtered in euros. Even just known that the variant known so far as Huawei P40 Pro PE will be presented as P40 Pro Plus 5G. However, we always put that information in the skepticism drawer until the brand doesn’t make it official.

A radical change in design
Now we see that the Huawei Mate 40 appears for the first time in renders, which are based on different patents and schemes from Huawei, according to the leak shared on the Slashleaks portal. Taking this into account, we could be faced with an approximate vision of the Mate 40, or with a design that could have little to do with the final result. However, the elements that have been taken into account are very striking.

Diamond Shaped Camera
The front has a suspicious resemblance to the Mate 30 Pro, while the back shows a radical change in camera layout, from a circular to a diamond-shaped module . We see that it has four rear cameras and a central LED flash. The design has conceived that the front cameras arise from a kind of front wing that could be hidden. The screen design with respect to the frames is faster than ever.

It’s still early
We are very used to seeing conceptual mobile designs that are going to be released. We see it with the upcoming flagships of Samsung, Apple and Huawei was not going to be an exception. We like to think of such a radical design change for the next Mate 40 Pro, but we won’t know until the closure ban is fully opened, and it may be soon for it…
