Once we run Freac for the first time, its main menu appears, with an interface that at first may seem too loaded with elements, which can overwhelm the most inexperienced users a bit. At the top it has the classic tabbed arrangement, where we find the options “File”, “Database”, “Options”, “Processing” and “Compress”. Although the menu is translated into Spanish, there are situations in which the translation is not perfect, but it is understandable. To start converting any audio file, the first thing we have to do is add it to the program. To do this we can drag it to its interface or click on the “Add file” icon on the bar, or from the Options tab. Once we have added it, at the bottom we can show the file information, where we can write the Artist, Title, Album, Track, Year and Genre.

In the “Chosen compressor” tab, we can choose the different audio formats in which we want to convert our file. Later we must select the “Output folder”, being able to choose the location where we want the file resulting from the conversion to be saved, using the “Search” button.
