Disney + is one of the last platforms to arrive in Spain with Disney, Star Wars, Marvel or The Simpsons, in addition to much more content. This has sparked the interest of many users to have the platform. Despite offering applications for mobile phones or tablets, we highly prioritize the viewing of these streaming platforms on our Smart TV, mainly for convenience. That is why it is so important to have an application for the main operating systems and television manufacturers. Today we know that Disney + is already available on more Smart TVs with Android TV .
Watching Disney + on a Smart TV or any TV is possible thanks to its native applications for some of the main manufacturers, but also using alternative methods such as Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV Stick or the always effective laptop connected by HDMI to the TV. However, there is nothing like opening the app directly on your TV and starting to watch your favorite series or movie.

Disney + on Philips Android TV
Philips TV confirms that the Disney + app is now available on a wide range of Philips Android TVs in countries such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, France, the United Kingdom and Ireland. Accessing this platform will be as simple as accessing directly through the Smart TV home page and the Disney + application, in the case of 2020 models from this manufacturer.

For owners of previous Android Smart TV models, they can find the new Disney + app in the Google Play app store. Simply download and install it on your televisions so as not to miss more than 500 movies, more than 300 series and 26 exclusive originals for Disney +.

Other brands of Smart TV with Disney + application
Philips Android TVs are not the first to have a native app for watching Disney + directly from the TV. In the case of LG , we need to have an LG television (with WebOS 3.0 and higher) since Disney + is not compatible with LG Netcast televisions or the LG TV web browser application.
For its part, if we are from Samsung, Disney + supports Samsung televisions in versions of 2016 or later (compatible with HD video) that use the Tizen operating system. It is not compatible with Samsung televisions with the Orsay OS or the integrated web browser.
