Wave of calls to Digi Mobil’s customer service phone. It seems that thousands of customers have been having trouble using connected services for a few minutes now. Reports about the inability to call or use the fiber connection have not stopped growing, although at the moment we do not have official confirmation from the Romanian operator.
Thousands of reports on websites about failures and dozens of messages on the social network Twitter have put us on the trail of operational problems at Digi Mobil. The most commented issues are to indicate that they cannot use fixed Internet (fiber optics), mobile Internet or even some speak of a total “blackout” of their services , since they cannot use any of the contracted services.
By area, Barcelona seems the city in Spain from which the most complaints are being produced, although it is closely followed by Madrid . Of the rest of the locations throughout the country we also have some reports, although not so massive. This information may change over the next few minutes due to the unpredictability of a breakdown of this type.
As is usual, the operator is not taking advantage of its social networks to confirm the fault or to reassure customers, an evil that not only affects Digi Mobil. The truth is that a simple tweet would help users see that there is a problem and that a solution is being worked on, but unfortunately, they always choose to “camouflage” and “hide” these things trying not to go further.
The web doesn’t work and the indirect fiber doesn’t work either
As we have seen, the fall also affects the Digi Mobil website, which is not currently accessible. Google Chrome returns an “ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT” indicating that it is impossible to connect with the destination server that hosts the website in question.
On the other hand, we are also seeing reports of problems with clients with indirect fiber from Movistar, although they do not give too many details about it. What is clear is that it is a significant fall of which the operator has given little information

Although there may be saturation problems, these are the customer service numbers of the Romanian operator Digi Mobil:
- 1200 : Free phone if we call from the operator’s network
- 642 642 642: Free telephone from the operator’s network. If we call from the network of another operator, the cost of the call will be the cost of the call to a mobile within the rate that each one has contracted.
- 901 666 642: Telephone accessible from any operator with a cost according to the rate we have contracted for 901 numbers. If we are from DIGI, the cost is like that of a call on the network.
