It has been a few months since King confirmed the development of Crash Bandicoot for Android and iOS devices, however, at this point we still do not see the marsupial in the pocket devices of millions of players. And it seems that the game will take time to arrive, since it has not been until now when the company has confirmed its launch.

This new installment of the famous marsupial proposes a type of endless runner game similar to Temple Run , Super Mario Run or others with which we can continuously advance through a scenario while avoiding obstacles and traps. Basically it maintains the aesthetics and playability of the original Crash Bandicoot, with the peculiarity that this time everything can be handled with the thumb.
Previously we had already seen some first images of the game, but it was not until now that King has decided to offer a somewhat more extensive gameplay and, finally, the official launch date of the game.

Of course, do not expect to be able to play it soon, since if you have been pre-registered since July, you will still have to keep waiting to get the game. And it is that the company plans to launch it on iOS next March 25, 2021 , or that is at least the date that is already reflected in the official record of Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! on the App Store.
The game seems to be completely free, although it will, as expected, incorporate a micro-payment system with which to advance more quickly with the help of power-ups, extra lives and all these kinds of basic aids to make the game easier.
A release without surprise
King was unable to surprise users with the announcement of this mobile version of Crash Bandicoot for one simple reason. An automatic Facebook advertisement began to show images of the game with total normality, something that obviously caught the attention of many users, so the information spread like wildfire.
That was a long time ago, as the publication appeared in February, revealing a beta version in testing that was available in Brazil. This makes us see that the tests of the game began a year before its launch, so it is surprising to see how far a game can start rolling before being officially launched.
