The four hierarchs

Resident Evil Village

The story of Resident Evil Village (or Resident Evil 8) will take us to a dark and enigmatic village in Eastern Europe, completely isolated from the world and inhabited by very strange creatures and completely terrified villagers. Ethan Winters, our protagonist, will travel there to try to save his kidnapped daughter, and it will be there when he realizes where he is.

In his adventure he must face 4 main enemies that guard each of the areas of the village, so we are going to review each of these four final bosses that we will run into in the game:

Salvatore moreau

Resident Evil Village

Deformed-looking, this hideous hunchback lives hidden in a dam, and faithfully serves its leader, Mother Miranda. Their abode is dark and funereal, so don’t expect birdsong or sunlight (well, not here or on the entire map).

Karl Heisenberg

Resident Evil Village

Named after an expert methamphetamine chemist, this character is actually an engineering genius with a gigantic mechanically jointed hammer with which he will not hesitate to smash skulls if necessary.

Donna Beneviento

Resident Evil Village

This mysterious character is a puppeteer who hides under mourning garments so as not to reveal her face. However, something that he will show is his doll, Angie, which will surely make us nervous in more than one corridor.

Alcina Dimitrescu

Resident Evil Village

This gigantic vampire woman is the owner and mistress of the castle to which she gives her name, where with the help of her three daughters they have frightened all the villagers who live in the vicinity.

The four zones of the village

Resident Evil Village

The map of this new Resident Evil will be made up of four very well differentiated areas, and it will be there where we find each of the four hierarchs. The areas of the map are as follows:

  • The Moreau reserve: It is a reserve near a fishing village, characterized by the presence of two windmills.

Resident Evil Village

  • The Heisenberg factory: It is the only area of the map where we will not have snow, perhaps as a metaphor for the carious reception that we will have from its inhabitant. This is where Ethan will be tortured at the beginning of the game.

Resident Evil Village

  • La casa Beneviento: A great house that bears a lot of resemblance to the mansion from Resident Evil 7, especially for its setting. It will be the place where Donna Beneviento awaits us, although you should know that visits will not be well received.

Resident Evil Village

  • El Castillo Dimitrescu: Protagonist of the first playable demo of Resident Evil Village. All a visual spectacle that will not avoid taking you more than a scare from the hand of Dimistrescu and his daughters.

Resident Evil Village

Mother Miranda, the final boss

Resident Evil Village

But in addition to these four characters, there will be a main one who is responsible for dominating them all. She is Mother Miranda, the current leader of the village and about whom very little is known about it, beyond the fact that all the villagers have blind faith in her. His face is a mystery, so surely the game will leave us the odd surprise around his revelation.
